Use cases

See how Tahanic fits the way your business actually runs.

Different businesses have different operational pressure points. See how MySchedule, MyReview and MyCost can work together — or independently — across real operating environments.

Hospitality & Food Service

The operating reality: shift-heavy staffing, opening and closing routines that must happen every single day, a high volume of public reviews, and thin margins that move with every supplier price.

A day in the workflow
Schedule published→ Opening tasks assigned→ Temperature check + photo→ Missed task escalates→ Manager verifies remotely
MySchedule
  • Weekly staffing against availability, with swap requests a manager approves
  • Opening, closing and cleaning checklists attached to shifts
  • Temperature checks with a reading and photo as proof
  • Event / BEO timelines with setup photos and a final readiness sign-off
  • Late and no-show visibility while the shift can still be covered
MyReview
  • High review volume: wait times, wrong orders, star-only reviews
  • Drafts in a short, warm voice — and varied, so repeated praise never gets the same reply twice
  • Low ratings held for approval; health and safety language always goes to a person
  • Caution on compensation: drafts never promise refunds or free meals
review arrives→ delay topic detected→ draft→ manager approves
MyCost
  • Supplier invoices move product costs the day a price rises
  • Waste recorded with reason and photo at the moment it happens
  • Expected versus actual usage; the unexplained gap is named and costed
  • Labour cost of the roster while it is still a draft
unexplained variance → needs investigation, never a verdict
Human judgment: low ratings, compensation decisions, health or safety complaints, and anything naming a staff member — a person decides, always.
Be careful: never argue food-safety claims publicly, and never let a reply promise a refund the manager hasn't approved.

Healthcare & Clinics

The operating reality: front-desk coverage and facility routines that keep the day running, and public reviews where a single careless sentence can breach a patient's privacy.

Tahanic is not a medical records system, and this page makes no HIPAA-compliance or healthcare-certification claim. Clinical information does not belong in Tahanic.

MySchedule

Operational work only — never clinical workflows.

  • Staff scheduling and front-desk coverage across the week
  • Opening and closing procedures as recurring checklists
  • Facility checks — waiting area, equipment presence, supplies restock
  • Manager visibility over what was done and what was missed
MyReview

The strictest configuration Tahanic supports.

  • Drafts never confirm or deny that a reviewer is a patient
  • No diagnosis, treatment, visit details or outcomes in any public reply
  • Every lower rating requires human approval; clinical, legal or safety language escalates
  • Replies move sensitive conversations to a private contact route
  • Professional, neutral tone; no compensation promises
MyCost — where it applies

Consumable supplies, purchasing and labour cost against the roster. Tahanic does not offer medical-inventory or claims functionality — for most clinics MyCost is a light, optional addition.

Human judgment: in this industry the approval gate is not a convenience — it is the point. Every customer-facing draft requires human review.

Home & Field Services

The operating reality: the work happens where you can't see it. Plumbers, electricians, cleaners and technicians are judged on arrival windows, and reviews name individual people.

A job in the workflow
Technician assigned→ Arrives on site→ Location verified→ Checklist + photo proof→ Manager verifies remotely
MySchedule
  • Technician and team schedules against availability
  • Location-based clock-in at the customer's site
  • Job and site checklists with photo proof of completion
  • Late and no-show visibility before the customer calls you
MyReview
  • Reviews naming a technician escalate to a person — always
  • Late-arrival and reschedule complaints get an acknowledging draft, not an excuse
  • Quote and price disputes are never argued publicly; drafts move them to a callback
  • Refund or money language holds the draft for approval
MyCost
  • Material and item costs, updated by supplier invoices
  • Labour cost from scheduled and actual hours
  • Expected versus actual material usage; waste recorded on site

Per-job profitability is only shown where the data genuinely supports it.

Be careful: never argue job details publicly, and never discuss an employee accusation in a reply — both escalate to the owner.

Retail

The operating reality: weekend staffing peaks, shelf-price accuracy, stock that walks between count and sale, and reviews about queues, returns and individual staff moments.

MySchedule
  • Weekly staffing with swaps a manager approves
  • Opening, closing and cleaning checklists
  • Stock-count tasks assigned as real, verifiable work
  • Attendance with location verification per store
MyReview
  • Queue, stock and pricing complaints each get topic-aware drafts
  • Pricing disputes and refund language require approval before anything moves
  • Branch-specific tone per store, on the same account
  • Duplicate-response prevention across similar reviews
MyCost
  • Stock counts on a phone, by storage area, draft until finalised
  • Reorder levels and low-stock visibility
  • Supplier price changes surfaced the day they land
  • Shrinkage appears as unexplained variance — named and costed
variance is a question, not an accusation

Professional Services

The operating reality: few reviews, but each one carries weight. Confidentiality is not a preference — it is the profession. This is where controlled AI matters most.

MyReview — the lead product here
  • Drafts never confirm whether someone is a client
  • No public discussion of outcomes, fees or case details — drafts redirect to a private channel
  • Legal and regulatory language escalates to a person immediately
  • Communication complaints get a professional, neutral acknowledgment
  • Every reply requires human approval
MySchedule
  • Team schedules and recurring internal tasks
  • Deadlines with reminders and escalation when work slips
  • Checklists for repeatable internal procedures

MyCost stays secondary here — labour cost and simple reporting where useful.

Multi-location Operations

The operating reality: the same work, multiplied — and the question of who is allowed to see and decide what, at which location.

One identity system

A person is created once, with a role — owner, manager, staff or read-only — and that role is enforced server-side in every product.

Location-scoped data

Each location keeps its own schedules, reviews, knowledge, costs and rules. Permissions and location scope decide what each person sees and controls.

Signals, side by side

MySchedule knows who worked and what was completed. MyReview knows what customers experienced. MyCost knows what the operation consumed. Tahanic surfaces the signals together; the manager decides what they mean.

Industry starter packs

Choosing your industry prefills the Business Brain with relevant knowledge, voice examples and rules — a starting configuration, not an industry-specific version of Tahanic. Everything remains editable.

Current MyReview integration status

Google Business Profile review retrieval and direct reply publishing require Google Business Profile API access and are not currently available. Reviews can currently be added manually, and approved replies can be copied manually to the external review platform. Full capability reference →
