Everything Tahanic can do, in one place.
A detailed look at the capabilities available across MySchedule, MyReview and MyCost — how they work, who controls them, and where current limitations exist.
No roadmap features are presented as available.MySchedule
People & executionScheduling, tasks and proof of completion for teams that work in shifts and locations.
Scheduling
- Weekly rosters built per employee, role and location
- Shift assignment, recurring shifts and open shifts
- Availability and time-off, checked at assignment
- Shift swap requests with manager approval
- Draft state until published; staff notified on publish
- Conflict, overtime-risk and minimum-rest warnings before publish
Tasks & checklists
- Tasks assigned to a person, role or shift
- One-off, recurring and time-bound tasks
- Opening, closing, cleaning and inspection checklists
- Deadlines with reminders before they pass
- Overdue visibility and escalation to a manager
Proof of completion
The manager chooses what counts as done, per task:
Several proof types can be required on the same task. Every completion records who, when and where.
Attendance
- Clock-in and clock-out from the phone
- Location check at clock-in — a shop, a site or a client visit
- Late arrivals and no-shows visible while the shift can still be covered
Manager visibility
- Today view: who is in, who is late, what is open, what is overdue
- Proof review and remote sign-off
- Labour cost of the roster while it is still a draft
Example: one task's record
Example dataMyReview
Customers & reputationCustomer reviews in one inbox, AI-drafted replies in your voice, and an approval workflow that keeps publishing authority with a person.
Review inbox
- Reviews entered manually today (see integration status below)
- States that describe where each review is in the workflow
- Filters and search across rating, state and text
- Assignment to a team member, internal notes, manager flags
- Resolution marking and full version history of a reply
AI reply workspace
- Draft generation grounded in your business profile and knowledge
- Edit, regenerate, and refine (shorter, warmer, more formal…)
- Handles star-only reviews without invented specifics
- Duplicate-response detection across similar reviews
- If drafting fails, the review simply waits for a person — no silent fallback
Business profile & Business Brain
- Business information, products and services
- Tone, response length, negative-review style, signature
- Phrases to always use and phrases never to use
- Contact rules and language preferences
- Knowledge entries and voice examples the drafts draw from
Automation & risk
A deterministic risk scan runs on every draft, before any AI signal. AI can only add risk or lower confidence — never remove a detected risk or raise confidence above the deterministic ceiling.
These labels are classifications — none of them is a sending action. No preset or setting can override the blocked and escalate rules.
Approval workflow
Approved means a person accepted the reply. It does not mean published — see integration status. Approval can be revoked, and each approval records who and when.
Team & permissions
Membership is verified server-side on every request; a business can never be selected by the client.
Analytics
- Review volume, rating distribution and trend over time
- Response and approval activity across the team
- Sentiment and recurring topics across reviews in the inbox
Metrics cover reviews inside Tahanic; platform-side statistics (e.g. profile views on Google) are not measured.
Review growth & private feedback
- Review request links and QR codes for real customers
- Private feedback form for unhappy customers, handled internally
- Do-not-contact and unsubscribe honoured; duplicates prevented
- No review gating: every customer gets the same ask
Direct Google Business Profile review retrieval and reply publishing require Google Business Profile API access and are not currently available. Reviews can currently be added manually, and approved replies can be copied manually to the external review platform.
MyCost
Money & operational costInventory, purchasing, waste and variance — what you should have spent versus what you did, with the gap named.
Tahanic names the gap and estimates its cost, then marks it needs investigation with possible contributors — overportioning, an outdated product cost, unrecorded waste. It never claims a specific cause the data cannot support.
Inventory
- Items, categories, units and storage areas per location
- Count sheets filled on a phone; draft until finalised
- Adjustments and history
- Reorder levels with low-stock visibility
Purchasing & supplier invoices
- Suppliers, invoice entry and line items
- Price history per item; price changes surfaced when they land
- Spend by supplier and by category
Product costs & recipes
- Cost per product or service built from item prices
- Portions, yields and sub-components where they apply
- A supplier price change moves every cost that uses the item
Waste
- Recorded in seconds: quantity, cost, reason, photo
- Reasons like spoiled, dropped, overproduction, prep waste
- Who, when and where on every record
Sales data & labour cost
- Sales imported to drive expected-usage calculations
- Scheduled versus actual hours from MySchedule
- Labour cost and labour percentage against sales
Product economics & reporting
- Cost, margin and popularity per product, side by side
- Price-change simulation before a change goes live
- Cost, waste, variance and labour reports; export for your accountant
One identity system under all three products.
A person, a location or a permission is created once and used everywhere. Nothing here needs to be set up per product.
Across every product, a status describes what actually happened — never more:
Nothing is ever labelled published or sent unless the product actually performed that action.
What Tahanic does not do today.
So there is no misunderstanding about current capabilities. This is not a roadmap and carries no dates.
